FAQs
What was the scope of the project?
Capturing a year in the vineyard, at the winery, with the family. The Fabre brothers are 6th generation winemakers from France, they took a leap of faith and relocated to the Central Coast of California 2 decades ago. Their dream was to eventually acquire land and plant their own vines, here in the US. As we started to film, a property came up for sale that matched what they had been searching for all of these years.
We wanted to document a year from winter, the vines awakening, undergoing a season, and eventually finishing with the end of harvest and planning for the growth of a new property.
